ENGINEER ASSAULTED
„ ASSAILANT SENT TO GAOL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI This Day. At the Magistrate’s Court Harry Carstairs was sentenced to two months imprisonment on a charge of having assaulted Wilfred Watson, engineer, on the Port Bowen, by striking him on the head with a piece of lead pipe.
