ALLIED NATIONS ORIMLV DETERMINED NO RELAXATION OF AIM. EVEN THOUGH HITLER SUES FOR PEACE. LONDON, September 7. “The Times,” in an editorial, asserts that the Allies will fifflit the war till Nazism is destroyed. even though Hitler
may be expected to sue for peace. It adds: “The Allies are in this war with a grim determination to end the Nazi Government, which is utterly faithless and utterly brutal. The Allies will neglect no legitimate means and spare no effort to achieve this.” HITLER & FRANCE TALK OF EFFORTS TO REACH AGREEMENT. LONDON, September 6. A German broadcast states that Herr Hitler spared no efforts to reach .an agreement with France. The German Foreign Minister, Herr von Ribbentrop. emphasised that Germany would take no aggressive action against France. The French should know that the Germans did not wish to revive the old struggle, he said, but a French attack on Germany would spoil the chances of peace for generations.
