RETURNING TO LONDON

A spokesman said they had originally intended returning on September 2. but were unable to fly, after which they were seeking transportation. RIVIERA VILLA MADE REFUGE FOR CHILDREN OF WAR WORKERS. (Received This Day. 9.10 a.m.) NEW YORK. September 7. The New York “Post” says Miss Grace Moore has arrived in Manhattan from Europe to complete a concert tour. Afterwards she is going to France to drive for an ambulance unit of which her husband is a member. She added that she would not be surprised to see the Duchess of Windsor join the same unit after the Duke of Windsor had been called to war service. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor were housing three hundred children of war workers in their Riviera villa.
