BRITISH PLANES NOT ENGAGED BY ENEMY. (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) LONDON, September 6. The Ministry of Information announces further extensive reconnaisance flights over German. More leaflets were dropped. The planes were not engaged. x On Monday night and in the early morning of Tuesday a further extensive reconnaissance was carried out by the Royal Air Force over the Ruhr. More than 3,000,000 copies of a note to the German people were dropped. The aircraft were not engaged by enemy fighters, and, as on a previous occasion, all returned safely.
