BUILDING SOCIETY

WORKMEN’S FRIEND NO. 2. The monthly meeting of directors of the Workmen’s Friend No. 2 Building Society was held last night, Mr F. J. Hunn (chairman) ■presiding. There were also present: Messrs W. Kemp, T. B. Braggins, A. V. Dixon, E. J. Brown, C. W. Walker, E. H. Morton and E. A. Hubbard. An apology for absence was received from Mr W. H. Jackson. The finance report was submitted and received and correspondence dealt with, and other routine business transacted. An extraordinary general meeting of members rvas also held for the appropriation of £4OO by ballot, the result being that Mr A. H. Rushton was declared entitled to the appropriation.
