Miss Admore, Te Whiti, has returned from a visit to Wellington.

Mrs Montague Saywell, of Rangiotu, is .the guest of Mrs Foss, of Hukanui. Miss Peggy Sellar. Colombo Road, Masterton, is staying at ParaparaumU Beach.

Miss Gardiner, Lower Hutt, spent the weekend with Mrs Turner, Victoria Street, Masterton. Miss Edna Brockett, who has been spending a holiday in Masterton, has returned to Ongafui.

Mr and Mrs J. P. Farrell and Miss Farrell, Renall Street, Masterton, have returned from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. N. Morgan (Eastbourne) was the guest of Mrs. E. T. Beaven. Carterton, over the week-end. Mrs V. Kay, who has been staying with Mrs H. W. Baty, Renall Street, Masterton, has returned to Island Bay, Wellington.

Miss Dora Moncrieff (Wellington) has been staying with her mother, Mrs J. Moncrieff, Victoria Street, Carterton.

Miss May Reynolds, of the Palmerston North Public Hospital nursing staff, is spending a short holiday with relatives in the Wairarapa. Mrs R. Mercer (Kelvin Grove), Miss M. Mercer (Kelvin Grove), and Miss A. Mercer (Palmerston North) are visitors to Masterton and are staying at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Miss B. Taylor, late of the staff of the Masterton Central School, has been appointed to a position in Wanganui and left Masterton on Monday to take up her new duties. ■
