It is estimated that the 'abandonment of the New Zealand Rugby League team's tour will cost the team £BOOO. They are now trying to return home. Mr John Wilson, the Rugby League Secretary, said: “I don’t know when it will be possible for them to leave. I am in touch with travel agencies and steamship companies.”
