GUARANTEED PRICE

EARLY CONSIDERATION PROMISED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. An indication that the question of the guaranteed price for dairy produce for the current season would be discussed, perhaps this week, with members of the Dairy Board who were coming to Wellington for the purpose was given by the Minister of Marketing, Mr. Nash, in reply to a question during consideration of the estimates for the Dairy Industry Account in the House of Representatives last evening. Mr. W. J. Polson (Opposition, Stratford) said the farmers would be glad to see the Minister back as it had been announced that the price would not be determined till his return.

Replying to the Leader of the Opposition, Mr Hamilton, the Minister said the price had never been related to the state of the dairy 'industry account.
