The Washington correspondent of the “New York Times” says information reaching officials, though unconfirmed, says that Britain has ordered a naval blockade of Germany, blocking the entrance to the Baltic near the Skagerrak and stretching across the North Sea near the Scandinavian Peninsula. EMBASSY STAFF DEPARTURE FROM LONDON & BERLIN. . z FULL FACILITIES AFFORDED. RUGBY, September 3. An assurance has been given by the German Charge d’Affaires, Herr Kordt, that full facilities are being extended to enable Sir Nevile Henderson and the staff of the British Embassy in Berlin and the British consular officers in Germany to leave the country. The United States Government has acceded to the request of the British Government to take charge of British interests in Germany, which accordingly have been entrusted to the United States Embassy in Berlin. Full facilities are being extended to Herr Kordt to enable him and the staff of the Geripan Embassy to leave Britain. Their departure will take place shortly. Facilities are also being extended equally to German consular officers to enable them to leave. AMBASSADORS EN ROUTE. NOT ALLOWED TO TRAVEL ACROSS BELGIUM.

(Received This Day, 9.35 a.m.) LONDON. September 4. The British and French ambassadors left Berlin at 9 a.m. for Holland. At the last minute the Germans refused them permission to travel across Belgium.
