ROMNEY FLOCK
A recent visitor to New Zealand was Mr C. Henderson of Upper Wanlagong, Holbrook, New South Wales, who is establishing .a first-class flock of Romney Marsh sheep in his district. Messrs Dalgety & Co., Ltd., Stud Stock Department, have sold to him for delivery early next year the following outstanding sheep: —Ex Mr' R. W. Matthews, “Waiorongomai,” 2 special stud rams; ex Mr H. B. Johnston, “Kamano,” Feilding, 50 selected shearling ewes; ex Mr Geo Allen, “Tipua,” Masterton, 50 selected shearling ewes; ex Mr J. E. Hewitt, “Mangamaire,” 50 selected shearling ewes; Messrs A. and J. Gray, “'The Grange,” Masterton, 50 selected shearling ewes. Mr Henderson’s development of his flock of sheep of this quality and from such leading New Zealand flocks, will be followed with keen interest.
