AN EQUALISER

TAKE PLENTY OF EXERCISE. The majority of thin people think, and quite wrongly, that exercise will keep them thin. Exercise is an equaliser, and just as it will reduce a person who is over-weight, so will it add pounds to a person who is underweight. Therefore, take plenty of exercise, and make up your mind that you will walk at least one mile each morning. This will mean leaving home five or ten minutes earlier than is usual, but you will enjoy your walk. The following exercise will make the shoulders delicately rounded, and will increase the breast-line, and should be carried out for five minutes each morning. Stand with your feet 24 inches apart, and with the left foot pointing outwards, the right knee slightly bent, and the right foot facing sideways. Now crook your right arm at the elbow and throw the weight of your body back on the bent right leg until you resemble a perfect curve. Now thrust your right arm out, and take the weight of your body with you as you lunge forward. Resume your normal position and then repeat the exercise with the onposite leg and arm.
