CUBMASTERS’ CAMP POSTPONED INDEFINITELY. (“Times-Age” Special.) The camp for the Cubmasters of the district which was to have been held at the Tauherenikau Racecourse at the week-end has been postponed indefinitely. VITAL STATISTICS FIGURES FOR AUGUST. The following are the vital statistics for August: Births, 7; deaths, 2; marriage, 1. RAINFALL NEARLY 8 INCHES IN AUGUST. During August rain fell on 24 days. The maximum fall was 2.23 inches on August 16, and the total for the month 7.60 inches. In August, 1938, there were 20 wet days with- a total fall of 4.15 inches.
