(Received This Day, 12.55 a.m.) WARSAW August 31, A spokesman said that Poland had refused to send a mission to Berlin to talk to Herr Hitler. The spokesman re-erilphasised Poland’s determination to keep Danzig and the Polish corridor. He added that Herr Hitler insists on Poland yielding Danzig and. the Corridor as a preliminary to negotiations.
