LADIES’ GOLF MATCH WIN FOR DANNEVIRKE. (“Times-Age” Special.) On Monday eleven members of the Eketahuna Ladies’ Golf Club travelled to Dannevirke where they played a match against a Dannevirke ladies’ team. Although the day was slightly wet the Eketahuna ladies thoroughly enjoyed the outing and were loud in their praise of the hospitable way in which they were entertained. • The result of the games were as follow (Eketahuna players being mentioned first in every instance): —Miss Greathead beat Miss McDermott; Miss Angus beat Mrs Coulby; Mrs Dickson lost to Miss Drummond; Mrs Berney lost to Mrs Henderson; Miss Fraser beat Mrs Riddell; Miss A. Simmers and Mrs McGibbon all square; Miss Herbert lost to Mrs Beedie; Mrs Henderson and Mrs Nairn all square; Mrs Mcßride lost to Mrs Boyd; Mrs Anderson lost to Mrs Drew; Miss E. Simmers and Miss Barker all square. Dannevirke won 5 games, Eketahuna 3 games, and three games were halved. MINATURE RIFLES BYRNE SHIELD SHOOT.
