Mrs. M. Hardy (Wanganui) w-ho had been the guest of Mrs. G. Hardy. Martinborough, has returned home. Mr. and Mrs. J. Wells, of Coradine Street. Masterton, have returned from a holiday spent at Mt. Cook. Mrs C. W. Wright, of Church Street, Masterton. has returned from a visit to Auckland. Miss Lesley Bectham, Perry Street, Masterton, has returned from a visit to Christchurch. Miss N. Sellar, who has been staying at Paraparaumu Beach, has returned to Masterton. Miss M. Ramsden, of Kumeroa, has returned after a holiday spent at the Waikanae Beach. Mrs. D. Gilbertson, of Hastings, is the guest of Mrs. W. H. Nelson, Woodville. Mrs Richardson, of Petone has returned home after having been the guest of Mrs H. Matthews, Lansdowne. Miss Phyllis Thompson, of Pahiatua, has returned from a holiday spent in Hamilton. Miss Margaret Horribon, of Tawa Flat, is the guest of Mrs. S. K. Siddells, Pahiatua. Mrs. J. Payne, of Rongokokako, is visiting Wellington, where she is the guest of Mrs. Crosland. Mrs. R. C. Tennent has returned to Woodville from Gisborne, where she had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. N. P. Branson. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Salt, of Pahiatua. left for Christchurch, en route for Cape Foulwind, where Mr. Salt has been appointed to the position of sole teacher at the school. Miss Alice Partridge, Christchurch, who has been spending the winter months in Tauranga with her sister, Mrs. H. W. Blundell, “Ngaranui,” Martinborough, returned home today. Very general regret will be felt in town and country that the district nurse, Miss Carrick, has found it necessary to relinquish her duties at Eketahuna. owing to health reasons.
