The annual Rugby match between Te Ante College and a Victoria University College team, played in Waipawa. was won by T eAute by 20 points to 17. For Te Ante tries were scored by Tuite (2), Hall. Christie (2) and Tawhiro; Haumoana converted one. Scorers for Victoria College were Parker. Cooney and Rae (2); OTtegan kicked a penalty goal and converted try.
