PRIME MINISTER ACKNOWLEDGES GOOD WISHES.

A reply to the Masterion Borough Council’s expression of sympathy with the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. .1. Savage, in his recent illness has been received from Mr Savage in the following terms:

“On leaving hospital I desire to express my grateful thanks for the good wishes conveyed in your kind message which I very sincerely appreciate. Regards. (Sgd.) M. J. Savage.” A similar message has been received by Mr T. Jordan in his capacity as president of the New Zealand Municipal Association.
