Latta’.. District Supervisor of Native Affairs and another departmental official, arc to visit the Homewood and Te Ore Ore pas to discuss with the Maoris schemes of Native land development, similar to those which have been carried out at Hastwell and elsewhere. It is hoped that a considerable number of Maoris can be established eventually on farms. Meantime the development of land will provide a good deal of employment At Te Ore Ore the restoration of the meeting house is also to be discussed with the Maoris by the visiting members of Parliament and rffieials.
