LONDON QUOTATIONS LAMB MARKET SLIGHTLY EASIER. WETHERS AND EWES FIRM. Lamb market: Lightweights firm, but lambs B's and second quality slightly easier. Demand quiet owing to hot weather. Mutton market: Wethers and ewes firm, with fair trade. Beef market: Frozen beef firm, with steady demand and prices are lower. New Zealand porker pigs: Market firm on the short supplies. New Zealand bacoaer pigs: More available and prices slightly easier. Boneless bobby veal: Weaker owing to increased supply. The above report was received yesterday by the Meat Board from its London office, which advises that the following are the ruling prices of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of frozen meat mentioned and are for representative parcels of the goods sold on Thursday. Chilled beef prices are averages of the week. All prices are on the basis of delivered to Smithfield Market.
