STATEMENT BY GERMAN SPOKESMAN GERMANY WAITING TILL PACT IS SIGNED. AN ITALIAN DISTINCTION. LONDON. August 22. An official spokesman' in Berlin declared: '’Germany is preserving a waiting attitude until the Russian pact is signed. Danzig must come back to the Reich. Interesting developments are ahead."
