ENJOYABLE INGLESIDE

WAIRARAPA CALEDONIAN SOCIETY. LAST NIGHT'S GATHERING. The Wairarapa Caledonian Society’s inglesides are proving very popular and recent gatherings resemble those of thirty and forty years ago, when the capacity of the old Drill Hall eyas taxed to its utmost. The third Ingleside of the season, held in the Masonic Hall last night, attracted a large gathering of members and their friends. The haggis was ceremoniously piped in by Pipers R. Burling, L. Pither and A. Forsberg, and the address and grace were given by the Chief, Mr T. S. Arcus, after which supper was served. The supper arrangements were in the hands of Mesdames J. McLean, G. Beecroft, J. J. Hunter, H. E. Pither, J. Kerslake and I. Cameron. Mr J. McLean, assisted by Mr G. Beecroft, capably carried out the duties of M’s.C.
