CRIPPLED CHILDREN

MEETING OF MASTERTON SOCIETY. ASSISTANCE TO SUFFERERS. Eleven cases, including one new one. were considered by the committee of the Masterton Crippled Children Society at a meeting held this week. Action was taken in several instances to give assistance in various ways. Arrangements were made to provide board and lodging during the period in which a case was receiving medical attention. It was reported that, the invalid chair had been loaned to a crippled girl while she was incapacitated. The following new members were elected: —Miss L. Goodall, Mrs H. McQuilkin and Mr L. E. Coleman. The chairman. Mr E. M. Hodder, reviewed the proceedings at the- annual conference of the society held recently in Wellington.
