HOCKEY

LADIES' PRACTICE. Members of the Wairarapa ladies’ tournament team will hold a gym. practice at the Kia Club rooms at 7.30 sharp tomorrow (Wednesday) night. All players' sticks, boots and pads should be handed in at this meeting so that, they may all be packed together and consigned direct to Blenheim. Mr G. Maloney, who has managed the Wairarapa team on previous occasions, will be present after the practice and will give members the benefit of his experience in tournament matters generally. A full attendance is urgently requested.
