Early Sun-Bathers.
Although I here is still a chill touch about the wind, many Aucklanders have found that the sun. in sheltered spots at least, has a warmth reminiscent of summer. Beaches protected from cold southerlies have recently become very popular, and, during the last few days, many cars have been soon in favoured spots along the waterfront road and on the North Shore. Swimmers are few, but in some cases visitors have changed into their swimming suits to gain lhe full benefit of the sun's rays.
