PORT QUEBEC LAUNCHED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Advice has been received by the Port Lino that the Port Quebec was launched at the Swan and Hunter yards by Mrs Warwick Gregory, wife of the New Zealand manager. The new ship, which is similar in type to the Port Halifax, is for the Montreal-Australia-New Zealand service.

Another ship, the Port Napier, will be ready for launching at the same yards in about a couple of months’ time.
