LONDON QUOTATIONS LAMB MARKET EASIER. MUTTON PRICES FIRM. Lamb market: Prices of most descriptions easier due to heavier arrivals. Demand has been affected by hot weather. Mutton market: Wethers and ewes, firm, with firm demand. Beef market: Frozen beef, hindquarters firmer on the better demand. Chilled beef, hindquarters shade easier owing to heavier supplies of Dominion and hot weather. N.Z. porker pigs: Market quiet but firm. N.Z.| baconer pigs: Nominal. The above report was received yesterday by the Meat Board from its London Office which advises that' the following are the ruling prices of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of frozen meat mentioned and are for representative parcels of goods sold on Thursday. The lamb market is slightly easier, while the mutton market remains steady.
