AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIPS. CONTESTS AT FEATHERSTON. (“Times-Ace" Special.) The Wairarapa Wrestling Association has fixed Saturday. September 2. for the Wairarapa Amateur Wrestling championships which will be held at the Featherston Town Hall. Entries close on Monday. August 28. Olympic weights and rules will be observed. The present title holders will compete and will have to look to their laurels to hold them, some promising challengers are eager to claim the honours. The Wellington Provincial Championships arc fixed for September 9 al Wellington and the Wairarapa should be well represented. The next professional match lor Masterton is one between Frank Forster (South Africa) and Bhu Pinder, fixed for August 29. The latter is right after the British heavyweight championship held by McCready and eager to show his paces and claim.
