ACCURATE GUNFIRE

PLANE KNOCKED OUT OF SKY. GOOD WORK BY BRITISH TERRITORIALS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 16. A realistic display of anti-aircraft gunnery was given before Parliamentarians today at an anti-aircraft camp in Watchet. Somerset. Having knocked a wireless controlled aeroplane, known as the "queen bee.” out of the sky with 4.5111 guns, the unit brought its three-inchcrs to bear on a towed target, and before long it also dropped into the sea.

The men who scored this last hit joined the Territorial army only last April, and the experience of the complicated weapons held by many of those taking part has been acquired during the ten days they have been in camp.
