TO KEEP IT IN CHECK
Beet rust can be kept in check by spraying with Bordeaux powder one ounce to one gallon of water every three or four weeks. Burn all dead leaves as the spores arc carried over until another season. It is advisable whore this trouble is bad. to give the soil a change from beet crops for a year or two, and also see that adequate supplies of potash arc present in the soil, for this trouble is always worst whore there is potash deficiency.
