PUBLIC NOTICES, MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. TVOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Maslerton County Council, held on TUESDAY, the Sth day of August, 1939, the following resolution was passed:— “THAT in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by “The Water Supply Act, 1908,” and its amendments. and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling, the Masterton County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: — (1) THAT the Special Order passed by the said Council on the Btn day of May, 1902, and the resolution passed on the 19th day of January, 1929, appointing Ratepayers to have the Management of the Upper Plain Water Races, be rescinded. ■ (2) THAT the Council hereby appoints the following Ratepayers, who shall, on behalf of the said Council, have the Management of the Water-Races in the Upper Plain Water Supply District No. 1, and in the Upper Plain Watei Supply District, No. 2, and who shall have and may exercise all of the powers of Management possessed by the Council, namely:— BEETHAM, Norman Trevor Beaumont Wardell. CANDY, George Frederick. GAWITH, Samuel Roy. HARCOMBE, William Henry. PERRY,.-George Henry. AND NOTICE is hereby further given that the above Special Order will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Masterton County Council, to be held on TUESDAY, the 12th day of September, 1939, at 2 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Chapel Street, Masterton.
