AWATEA FOR OVERHAUL
WORK TO BE CARRIED OUT IN SYDNEY. TRIP BACK WITH SKELETON CREW. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Awatea arrived today from Sydney and will be withdrawn from the intercolonial service until October 13, but will not undergo her annual overhaul and survey here. She will discharge cargo and return to Sydney with a skeleton crew, and there will receive her brush up, being overhauled from keel to masthead.
