WHITE PAPER CONDEMNED BUT FAITH STILL RETAINED IN BRITAIN. ADDRESS BY DR. WEIZMANN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 11.5 a.m.) GENEVA. August 16. Dr. Chaim Weizmann. in his presidential address at the World Zionist Congress, condemned the Palestine White Paper, but declared that Jews still retained faith in Britain. Their quarrel was only with those responsible for the present Palestine policy. "We must and shall defend ourselves,” he said, "but not punish the innocent. We reject the law of the jungle.”
