BEER STRIKE
LYTTELTON WATERSIDERS GO DRY. TILL PRICE IS REDUCED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. This Day. Waterside workers at Lyttelton pledged themselves this morning to go dry till the price of beer is reduced. z\ meeting carried a resolution: “That those present refrain from purchasing wine, spirits or beer from any hotel until the price of beer is reduced to the former level.”
