TWO FEATURE PROGRAMME. “My American Wife” and "Hotel Haywire" will be shown finally tonight at the Cosy Theatre. QOMING TOMORROW. “Rootin’ Tootin’ Rhythm" showing at the Cosy Theatre tomorrow has a typical Autry plot —gay, sparkling, full of thrills and surprises, and featuring plenty of pleasant musical interludes. Gene and Smiley Burnette, become mixed up in a comedy of errors when they don the clothes of two dead outlaws, only to learn that the outlaws are really dead sheriffs, dressed in outlaws’ clothes. The real outlaws are very much alive, and are roaming the countryside at large under the protection of the Sheriff’s clothes. The cattlemen mistake Gene and "Frog” for the bandits, and mistake the bandits, of course, for sheriffs.

Telling the dramatic story of grimfaced boys who challenge society for a chance in life, Universal's production of “Code of the Streets,” is the second attraction on the programme. In addition to the rough and ready band of juvenile stars, the Little Tough Guys, the swiftly paced story features Harry Carey, Frankie Thomas, James McCallion, Leon Ames, Juanita Quigley and Dorothy Arnold. The screenplay provides a graphic illustration of the effect that big city slum environment can have upon untrained youth.
