ORIGINAL OF BATTLE ORDER
(British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 11.33 a.m.) RUGBY. August 15. Death duties on the late Sir P. Sassoon's estate amount to £789 906.
Bequests include £5,000 to be applied at each half-yearly passing out of cadets from the Royal Air Force Cadet College at CranwelL in a prize for the best all-round cadet excepting the winner of the sword of honour. Sir P. Sassoon also lel't to the British Museum the original of Earl Haig's famous "Backs, to the wall” order of the day on April 19, 1918.
