PROFESSOR BURCKHARDT
REPORTED MESSAGE TO BRITAIN. NO DANZIG PLAN SUBMITTED. (Received This Day, 10 a.mj LONDON, August 15. Professor Burckhardt sent a message to the British Government in which he emphasised that this and. any further reports were most confidential, and that no statement was possible, but it is authoritatively stated that Professor Burckhardt did not discuss the British standpoint with Herr Hitler. The "Evening News" says neither Professor Burckhardt nor any other quarter has submitted any Danzig plan to Britain. The Danzig correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain says Professor Burchhardt hopes to clarify the position at a later day. One of Herr Foerster’s intimate associates called on Professor Burckhardt. NOT GOING TO LONDON (Received This Day. 10.25 a.mJ DANZIG. August 15.
