RIVERSIDE CLUB GAMES WEEKEND ARRANGEMENTS. CHAMPIONSHIP AND OTHER EVENTS. As several matches in various competitions have to be played by the members of the Riverside Golf Club during the weekend. Members are requested to arrange their own partners and hand in their cards for the third medal round of the net aggregate competition. Mrs Cross; Mrs Emery v. Mrs Gilliland. WIN FOR TYNESIDE MATCH AGAINST TE WHARAU. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual golf fixture between Te Wharau and Tyneside was played at Tyneside during the weekend, in fine but windy weather. Te Wharau were unfortunate in being unable to bring a full team of men so that their players had a hard struggle which, however, ended in victory for Tyneside, a club whose members appear to have struck good form. Following are details of the play, Te Wharau players being mentioned first in every case: —
