RIGGS REPELS DETERMINED ATTACK. MISS MARBLE AND MRS FABYAN WIN LADIES' DOUBLES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 1.15 p.m.) RYE, August 13. In the Rye tennis tournament, the men’s singles semi-finals resulted: R. L. Riggs defeated Secht 7/5, 10/8, 6/4. Riggs was forced to display his best form since Wimbledon to repel the Czechoslovakian’s determined attack. Riggs will meet F. A. Parker tomorrow.
The final of the women’s doubles resulted in Miss A. Marble and Mrs S. Fabyan defeating Misses Bundy aqd Arnold, 6/4, 7/5.
