WEEKEND STORM ON WEST

COAST.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, This Day

Although weather conditions have moderated today, with a thaw in the coastal districts, inland districts and the foothills are still thickly coated with snow, following upon a weekend storm.

There are between 8 inches and a foot of snow at Rewanui, where the Liverpool State Mine is situated. The rope boys this morning declined to work in the snow and the mine is idle for the day. All transport service sare normal.
