GERMAN PAPERS BANNED ARRESTS IN THE CORRIDOR. NAZI AIRMEN CIVILIANS. By Telegraph—Press Association Copyright. LONDON. August 13. The authorities in Warsaw have banned 27 German newspapers and periodicals. The Polish police arrested four members of the German Air Force and four civilians in the Polish Corridor, states a message from Salzburg. FEARS IN HUNGARY REPORTED APPLICATION TO POLAND. LONDON. August 13. "Reynolds News" says that Hungary has asked Poland whether the Poles would stand by Hungary in the event of a German attack.
The German forces stationed a few miles from the Hungarian frontier number 350,000, which is three limes larger than the total Hungarian army, the newspaper states.
