MASTERTON CLUB. DRAW FOR LADDER GAMES. The secretary of the Mastertori Chess Club has been advised that the annual fixture, Wellington Chess Club versus Country Clubs, will be held at Palmerston North on Saturday, August 26. Any local player desirous of making the trip is assured of a warm welcome and a good game. The draw for the ladder games, to be played at the Y.M.C.A. Rooms next Monday night, is as follows: —A. E.
