A message from Instabul on Thursday read: The Turkish authorities refused to permit 600 Czech Jewish refugees to land from the steamer Parita. The Parita is unable to take them elsewhere owing to her being without fuel. The refugees embarked at Constanza and have been at sea for many weeks' in a hopeless quest for a port. The, Parita also lacks money for repairs, food and other necessities.
