The following sales were recorded on the Dominion Stock Exchanges yesterday:— Sale Price.
The Waitahu Gold Mining Company, Ltd., reports that the first partial washup in No. 19 paddock resulted in a return of 260 z for 21 shifts of eight hours each. Elevating operations were commenced in this paddock on July 19.
The Blackwater Mines return for July is: Crushed. 4645 tons, yielding 2200 fine ounces of gold from all sources, including clean up of old battery, the value of which, taking gold at 148 s a fine ounce, was £16,279. Working expenses were £8825, leaving a working profit of £7454. Capital expenditure was £BOl, and development expenditure £968.
The Mossy Creek dredge reports a return of 350 z from 6315 cubic yards worked in 130 hours.
