The hospital patient had just had a visit from the surgeon in charge of his case. "I say. nurse,” he said weakly, after the doctor had gone, “that young surgeon who operated on me seems rather pleased with my progress, don't you think?” "Oh, he is!" the nurse replied cheerfully. "He thinks there’s a chance of you being his first successful operation.”
