AXIS DEMANDS
REPORTED REJECTION BY YUGOSLAVIA COMMAND OVER COUNTRY IN WAR. USE OF RAILWAYS & MATERIALS. (Received This Day. 12.55 p.m.) LONDON. August 9. The Belgrade correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain says it is learned on the highest authority that Yugoslavia refused Italian and German i demands for benevolent neutrality in the event of war, including i the Axis use of railways, raw materials ■■ and foodstuffs and the right to cross ; Yugoslavian territory to Rumania and Bulgaria.
