y SHEEP PRICES DOWN. Good entries of fat and store sheep and another large yarding of dairy cattle were offered at Masterton by the Associated Auctioneers yesterday. There was only a fair attendance of buyers and bidding was rather dull. 1 Sheep prices were down 2s per head. Quotations: —Prime fat wethers, 20s to 225; light, 15s to 17s; prime heavy b.f. two-tooths, 20s to 21s 3d; medium ditto, 17s; fat b.f. hogets. 14s to 16s; fat w.f. hoggets, 13s to 14s; extra prime heavy ewes, 17s 6d to 20s 3d; prime ditto, 16s 6d; 2-tooth wethers, 14s 4d to 16s Id; m.a. ewes. r.w. S.D. ram, 15s to 17s 6d; ewes and lambs, 8s 6d all counted; ewe hoggets, to 19s 6d; w.f.w. hoets, 9s to 10s 4d, small 4s to 7s: fat cows ex dairy. £5 5s to £5 10s; springing cows. £J to £10; store cows, £3.
