SAVOURY TOASTS
Gourmet’s Toasts. —Chop some lean ham finely, bind it with butter flavoured with French mustard, and pile it on the toasts.
Croutes Derby.— Spread your toasts with puree of ham, and surmount each with half a pickled walnut. Rajah Toasts. — Spread the toasts with han? paste flavoured with curry, and sprinkle chopped chutney over each.
Windsor Toasts. —Spread the toasts with ham paste, and cover this with finely chopped grilled mushroom.
