NEW PREMIER
MR MAIR CONGRATULATED IN N.S.W. LABOUR CENSURE MOTION INTENDED. ATTACK ON GOVERNOR. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. SYDNEY. August 8. The Legislative Assembly resumed today after the reconstruction of the Ministry and the recent political turmoil. The new Premier, Mr Mair, was congratulated. Some formal business was transacted and the House adjourned until August 22, when the Leader of the official Opposition. Mr Lang, intends to submit a motion censuring his Excellency the Governor. Lord Wakehurst, demanding his recall for allegedly acting unconstitutionally in not calling on Mr Spooner to form the new Government. displaying partiality toward the outgoing Premier and his administration.
