MASTERTON CLUB.

PAIRS COMPETITION.

The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club played further games in the progressive pairs section last week. This week’s I games will conclude this competition, and a start will bo made with the singles championship. The colts competition will also commence this week. E. Joyce leads the skips in the progressive pairs and J. Mayes the leads. The following are the fixtures arranged for this week:—Tuesday: 7 p.m„ No. 1, D and 1 play Q and 12; No. 2. F and 3 play J and 14; 8 p.m., No. 1, E and 2 play R and 13; No. 2, H and 5 play L and 16. 9 p.m., No. 1, A and 9 play O and 12; No. 2, G and 4 play K and 15. Wednesday: 7 p.m., No. 1, C nnd 9 play P and 11; No. 2. I and (I play M and 17; 8 p.m., No. 1, A and 7 play N and 18; No. 2, B and 8 play O and 10; 9 p.m., No. 1, Park Ferns Challenge. Stains (s.) and Hanley (holders) v. Grantham (s) and R. Honson. No. 2. Norman v. Andrews (colts). Thursday: 7 p.m., No. 1, Stains v. Mayes; No. 2, Norman v. Grantham; 7.45 p.m., No. 1, Nuttall v. Jansen; No. 2, Ferguson v. Buchan; 8.30 p.m,, No. 1, Kenham v. Reed; No. 2, Lewis v. Hearps; 9.15 p.m., No. 1, Pickering v. Hanley; Np. 2, Edwards v. Onion. The committee request all players to note their respective games and save confusion.
