“FAMILY AFFAIRS”
SEASON TO OPEN ON TUESDAY. The Little Theatre Society’s production next Tuesday and Wednesday of "Family Affairs” should have the approval of the public as it is a bright entertainment. Mr S. Charleson as the grandson, has the part of the impetuous young husband who is greatly concerned that his wife, Rose, played by Miss Joyce Shearer, has fallen in love with another man, but Lady Madehurst straightens things out to everyone’s satisfaction. The production is in the hands of Miss Betty Coleman, with Mr T. C. Wynne, as stage manager. As the box plan is filling up, the public are advised to book as early as possible to ensure good seats. The box plan is at Steele and Bull. The Little Theatre Society has some 130 members and is endeavouring to foster dramatic art as well as provide good entertainment for the public, and full information as regards membership can be obtained at the Secretary’s office (T. E. Handcock), Page’s buildings, Perry Street.
